This Content Correction Policy explains how Sudoku Online handles reports about Sudoku guides, examples, translations, internal links, feature descriptions, and other informational pages. It does not replace the separate process used to validate an individual leaderboard or tournament result.
1. What you can report
- a Sudoku rule or solving step that is incorrect or misleading;
- an example whose candidates, cage total, or conclusion do not follow logically;
- a broken or wrong internal link;
- a feature description that no longer matches the live website;
- a translation that changes the meaning of the original explanation;
- a typo or formatting problem that materially affects understanding.
2. How to submit a correction
Use the Contact page and include the exact page URL, the heading or passage involved, what you believe is wrong, and—when useful—the corrected explanation or evidence. Screenshots can help with visual, translation, or layout problems.
3. How reports are reviewed
We compare the report with the page’s intended search intent, the current Sudoku logic or live product behavior, and related pages that could be affected. A report can result in no change, a small correction, a broader refresh, a re-targeting decision, or a consolidation review when two pages substantially overlap.
4. Minor and material corrections
Minor spelling, punctuation, broken-link, or clarity fixes may be applied directly. Material changes that alter the meaning of a technique, page purpose, canonical owner, or URL architecture should receive a broader SEO and internal-link review before publication.
5. URL preservation
We avoid changing a published URL only to make wording look newer. If two articles need to be merged, the preferred process is to choose the survivor deliberately, repair inbound internal links, check canonical/hreflang/sitemap state, prepare a permanent redirect, and verify the redirect after it is created.
6. Transparency and response
Not every correction produces a public change log, but the goal is to make the live page more accurate without disguising a change in intent. Response time depends on the severity and the amount of verification required.
